card for Ruby's Rainbow Challenge is again shades of green.I am so keen on green now and gold too....a few months ago most of my cards were pink, blue or lilac...I hated green apart from in nature....these challenges do have an effect after all!!!
Card Supplies:
Card blank and ribbon from stash.
The die cut frame is from my crafting friend Jo.This is my first attempt at threading ribbon round a frame and I ampleased with the result.
The Magnolia image is coloured using ProMarkers.
Sentiment from Craftwork Cards.
I made the little ribbon flower using the left over ribbon.
Candi from Craftwork Cards.
I also drew faux stitching around the image and backing paper.
I am going to attempt to schedule this post as I will still be visiting family in the UK...hope it works!!
Thank you for visiting...I will catch up with you soon,
Sandra

Black and Pink
look so fab together don't they! As I mentioned in one of my previous posts I treated myself to a Goody bag from Craftwork cards and this paper and image was included. It was one of those cards that just flowed and I have to admit to keep going back to have another look....do you do that with some cards or is it just me!!
I think it is a little different from my usual style but I am very pleased with it. This is also my first attempt at a double bow...it was surprisingly easy....although I will have to watch Becca's video to remember again.
I was also experimenting with the new (to me) border die cut from Spellbinders. I am off to sunny UK on Tuesday to visit Mum and Naomi and Grant.
Card Supplies:
Card blank and pink paper from stash.
Backing paper and image from Craftwork cards.
Ribbon tied with help from Amazing Paper Grace blog.
Border cut on Bigshot using Spellbinders die.
Flourishes cut using Cheery Lynn die.
Roses from LOV.
Pearls from Buyology, Par, Cornwall.
Challenges I would like to enter:
Cheery Lynn Challenge 15 Pretty in Pink
Digi Doodle Shop's Best #95 Anything Goes.
Fab 'n' Funky #10 Try something new...tying double bow.
Jelly Park Challenge Shades of Love
SSIC Challenge 127 Flowers.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog....Welcome to my new followers and have a wonderful crafting week.

Exciting news...
I have been chosen to be a DT member of Ruby's Rainbow Challenge blog.
Here is my entry for their Challenge- Vintage. I wanted to make a card with my card class using decoupage and for a man...I think this fulfils both points. The class was a little smaller this week and I have to admit I found it much more relaxed and friendly. The ladies seemed to enjoy this card and quite a few asked if we could do another for a man next week!!! Sorry girls mybrain can only cope with one man's card in a month! I have promised them another one when I get back from my next visit to the UK.
Do you like the Candi...I have just made my first order to Craft works and I am smitten...they are so versatile. I love them...and the goody bag was extremely good value...I shall be ordering again.
