Following a Sketch....

for the first time with this card.
I quite enjoyed the process although I wish I had used some DP on the card as well.

I am using up lots of my stash at the moment as I organize my craft cupboard. I used the EK Success punch Arch Scallop and the cupcake Embossing folder from Victoria & Albert Museum.
I would like to enter this card for the Crafts for Eternity Challenge R #22.

I'm back....home...

and the weather has been a little changeable but lovely and warm.
It was wonderful being with Naomi and Grant helping prepare and then being with them for the opening of Elegance Salon in Torquay.

As you can imagine there was very little time for any card making. It has taken a few days to get back into the crafty swing so I decided to recycle some old cards for sale for a drop in centre I am helping with. Hopefully the profits can help fund this very necessary project. Spain has a huge unemployment problem at the moment and many families are really suffering.

I would like to add the above card to the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft Challenge #144.
PaperPlay Challenges #22.
Fab'n'Funky Challenge 'What'eva'.

The card class I run has now taken a break for the summer so I am going to enjoy experimenting and playing. I will post some more photos soon. xxxx

My New Craft Shelves

I think the building bug has seriously affected Terry. After working so hard in Naomi's salon for 8 weeks he has come home and built some shelves for my craft cupboard. I am so pleased with them I am wearing a huge smile...yes I know very sad!!!
However I don't think I will have time to sort out all my craft things before I go to the UK as I am counselling right up until Wednesday evening...something to plan for my return.Thank you sweetheart.xxxx

He's home.........

Terry finally arrived home on Thursday...it is so good to have him back. I know Naomi found it difficult to say Goodbye but she has enjoyed her quality time with him. Grant and Naomi are continuing to work on the Salon and I think it will be open very soon.
I haven't had much time for crafting but managed one card today.

I am learning how to download digi images and when I saw this paper I knew it would look good on an easel card.

The paper is from Create with TLC. I used my Bigshot with an embossing folder and a MS punch.
The pearls are from Dovecraft and the flowers are from my stash.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:

A bit of Black and White

Haven't made many cards this week as been a bit under the weather with sinusitis....even my teeth and hair hurt!!!

Much better now though.....and my darling husband is flying back on Thursday. So excited to see him after 2 months apart. His flight is coming into Alicante at 11pm and I have to find my way around the new terminal...I am a little nervous but will leave lots of time to get lost etc.

I love black and white cards and here is one I made earlier in the week with my very talented friend Julie.Sorry I don't have details of papers etc as it all came from her stash.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges.

Catch the Bug: Anything Goes.

Digi Doodle Shop's Best: Happy Birthday.

Woodware USA Clear Stamps: Monochromatic.

Green and Dotty..

Having said in the last post that I didn't really like green....I have made another green card!

Part of starting this blog has been to challenge my creative talents and encourage me to use colours in new ways for me, to explore new ideas and learn new skills. I am already in awe of many of the blogs I have visited and the paper craft people are producing. I have so much to learn...but that is the reason for this journey into blog land....and so far I love the views.

I used my new MS Punch Scroll Lace.
The dotty card was embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.
Pearls are from Dovecraft.
The pearlescent paper and card are from Craftworks.
As usual ribbon & flowers are from my stash.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
For Fun Challenge - Flower and sentiment in Centre.

Guylou's Challenge- I see Dots.

Gingerloft Challenge- Die cuts and or punches.

Digi Doodle Shop's best- Ribbon & Bows.
