A bit flowery..

for me but I couldn't stop once I had started. This card is also for the card class to show how to make the straight ribbon. I also wanted the girls to practice stamping with the background but I think it is a little too busy for my taste.

I want to send quite a few Thank you cards to various individuals and businesses that have helped the Reach out Centre and this is one for the Thank You Card box...it's a bit like a bouquet of flowers!!

I love the Woodware Christmas Flowers Punch...but sadly it decided to break after only a few weeks of use...and I was so careful about the thickness of card I used. I will therefore have to wait a few weeks before the class can make this card as I am waiting for a replacement punch.

  2. Hello Sandra. You have some beautiful cards. I really like your feminine style. I wanted to thank you for the lovely comment you left on my blog. To answer your question the stitching on my bird card is by hand. My sewing machine is having some issues right now and I usually prefer the way my hand-stitching looks. Other people seem to be able to machine stitch beautifully, but I have been challenged in that area. I have a stitching template that is really meant for faux stitching on scrapbook pages. I use it to punch my holes so that the stitching comes out even and straight. It takes a little time, but I always like the result. Thanks again for leaving me a comment. I hope you'll visit again sometime.
